Tom grew up in the small rural town of Atkinson. The son of a builder, he began his journey helping others while working in the family owned business that included carpentry, masonry, restoration, renovation and timber frame repair. He was taught to work hard, to do his best and to “do it right the first time”. Quality workmanship and a strong work ethic were important at an early age and are still a top priority for him today.
Tom's service to others continued, serving in the military and then working in public safety in both Penobscot and Piscataquis Counties.
For over 20 years he resided in Dover-Foxcroft, where he raised a family and aided his community by serving in various capacities on local town boards, committees and elected positions. After relocating to Lincoln, he again found his way back into community service. Currently he is an Officer with the local American Legion, where he provides assistance to local Veterans whenever it is needed.
Tom spent many years as Building Specialist at a Community Agency that served much of North Central and Mid Coast Maine. During his tenure there, he earned certification as a Senior Energy Auditor and in later years he was chosen to train Auditors and Installer Technicians throughout the State.
Tom's expertise in Building Science and Technology coupled with his common sense approach to housing options makes him a good fit for any first time home buyer or seasoned property owner.
